Missy and I started a junior cycling team, Flatiron Flyers.  They are awesome and are so much fun to work with.

This past weekend we attended a fundraiser for the Davis Phinney Foundation which was something like a "ride-a-thon."  I couldn't believe how many juniors from our team showed up and rode the whole three hours.

Cade rode the roller for about 1.5 hours before leaving for a basketball game.  And, whenever the teacher told us to stand, Cade stood.  What a stud!  11 years old.  Oh, and when he left his younger brother (7) jumped on the rollers for the rest of the ride.
Jens is the owner of Flatiron Athletic Club where the event was held.  This is also a new sponsor of the Flatiron Flyers Junior Cycling Project.  Thanks Jens!

We won the award for the largest team participation (15!).... parents, juniors, Missy... it was great.  The team also raised $400 to help research for Parkinson's Disease.

Good times and a great cause!
